About me huh?
Well, I am a self (and affectionately by others) proclaimed artsy-fartsy, prissy tomboy. I grew up taking years of dance lessons in sparkly tutus and running barefoot around the yard begging my brother to let me play ball. I loved to sew with my mom and work on the cars with my dad. Which all led me to my unbending belief that there are great balances of prissy and muddy, sparkle and smudge, soft and rigid…
I followed my mind’s eye through the theatrical world and to a degree in theatre design, with a concentration on costuming. From there I let the theater world meld into the event design and planning realm, with an odd juxtaposition of an 8 year stint in the transportation engineering world. And now I have somehow landed in the financial territory, but with all of my wandered paths have come a great amalgamation of experiences which have peculiarly contributed to my creativeness… and my never-waning knack to find inspiration in the small things…
My goal with this blog is to not set goals… rather it is to just randomly share the things that inspire me in hopes of inspiring others. Like my past, I would love to link my experiences with theatre, event design, sewing… heck… even the financial facet… like how to do things on an itsy bisty teenie weenie yellow polka dot budget… So stay tuned for a look into my imagination, stemmed from inspiration.
